Another bell rang. I spun wildly, searching for the source, and my foot slipped out from under me. My left foot joined my right, sliding down a rocky surface. 

A scream tore past my lips. 

My brain fought to figure out what was happening as my hands gripped for something—anything because I was falling. My head swiveled. 

I couldn’t comprehend the giant, gaping crack I’d fallen into. A fissure in the ground at 

least eight feet wide. My fingers sunk into the cracked concrete, barely holding on. Sliding. 

Then I looked down. 

No end in sight. An abyss. 

Everything around me blurred, and all I could see was black. And in that blackness was 

the one thing I was terrified of: death. My stomach pitched and my chest heaved, but no air 

moved in or out of my lungs. I was suffocating. 

Ripping my eyes away from the darkness, I focused on my hands, still grasping at the 

gravely terrain crumbling beneath them. My right foot slipped, and my fingers dug deeper into 

the ground. It was a mixture of rock, and mud, and I didn’t know what. It felt like glass shards 

were being shoved under my fingernails.

I dug in with my toes, using the muscles in my legs to slow my descent. I slid to a halt, but the 

rocks and substrate continued to crumble beneath me. I searched blindly for a sturdy foothold. 

My foot found a rocky lip, but as soon as I thought it was safe, it gave way. My right silver flip-

flop plummeted into the darkness so eager to swallow me.

Attempting to force my gaze upward, I focused on the contrast of the dark surrounding me and 

the bright light above, the line where they met. Technically, I’d die in broad daylight.

“Think, Josie.” The voice was strong, demanding. It took a second for it to register. “Josie, look at me.” 

Reid. Reid was here. That’s where I was. I was at Reid’s place. I’d come here to train. I’m an Oculi. It all became clear as I broke free from the terror. 

I wrenched my head toward his voice, my gaze meeting his. He crouched above me at the surface, his eyes my lifeline because he didn’t offer a hand. He wasn’t about to coddle me. That wasn’t his style. He said, “Breathe. Think.” Dragging in an uneven breath, looking into his clear eyes, something clicked in the far reaches of my mind.Stairs. I Pushed with no effort. No headache, no nausea. I blinked, and stairs carved themselves into the side of the chasm, jutted out as if they’d always been there. “React, Josie!”

I focused on the surface, on the light growing dimmer the farther I skidded. Earth. Ground beneath my feet. I Pushed. And Pushed. Pain. Nausea. Dizziness. Thunder sounded below, like the darkness of the chasm was rising up to swallow me whole. Something hit my feet so hard that it tossed me in the air. Up. Up. Into the light. My thoughts didn’t coalesce clearly, but I felt myself rising. The pain behind my eyes made my vision waver. I shot to the warehouse floor. Reid reached for me as I collapsed. Wow. That is the only word I can use to describe this book. It has everything I wish for in a book. There is action, fiestiness  characters and a teeny bit of romance. I| under estimated this book so much due to the fact it was about Vampires and I thought I wouldn't be able to handle it without throwing the book onto my lap and questioning life, but oh my I whizzed through this book faster than you can say Vasilisa Dragomir! That is how good it was!!

Vampire Academy follows the life of the rebellious and frail Rose Hathaway and Lissa Dragomir. They do already have a reputation of running way from St Vladimir Academy and Rose has been put on special watch. Lissa is a vunerable Moroi with no elemental powers and relies on Rose her dhampir guardian to protect her from their arch enemy the Stigori who hunt to kill. When coming back rumors have been spread putting a bad image on both of them. Lissa is usually the innocent one and Rose the reckless but could their roles be switched?

I absolutely loved the fieriness within the book, I also liked the little parts of teasing to eachother like normal kids would do in a high school. It wasn't all about Vampire love and biting people it wasn't the typical vampire book. It didn't talk about each characters urges to bite the humans around them it was just an everyday life but the only difference being they were not human. I also found interesting was the part about 'bonds' and how it is a special gift where a guardian can feel his/her emotions of go inside their head and see what they see I thought that was awesome. 

The characters. The character development was amazing. Although we only saw snippets of some I could instantly remember who each and everyone was. Sometimes what happens in books is that the author would introduce a whole bunch of characters at once and then halfway through the book they suddenly pop up, well that didn't happen. Each of their personalities were shown through, I was also able to go through the story with them and I felt like I was part of the book.

Overall, this would be a must to your bookshelf. If you haven't already add it to your goodreads list now!! It is amazingly funny, interesting and it draws you in on the first words. Maybe I have finally found what type of books I like; VAMPIRE BOOKS!! After reading The Coldest Girl in Coldtown (mindblowing book) and this one I really do want to get into reading more fantasy type of books. If you could, recommend some good vampire themed books for me to read!

I have a current addiction to Wattpad. It is an amazing site where I can discover new books by people who aren't even published yet but write like professionals. Some people think that Wattpad is a place where One Direction Fan-Fictions flood your page but hidden behind that are many amazing novels written by teenagers who end up being published! I am a big sucker for romance and if you look through my Wattpad you will find a hell-load of them. Sometimes I find myself staying up until 4am just to finish stories! This book isn't finished but words cannot describe how much I love this book. It is amazingly written and I find myself waiting every week for a new chapter and it is on my head all the time. I even archived this book so that whenever it is updated I can read it off my phone from the Wattpad app anywhere.

F.A.I.T.H: A Dorm.A Deliquent.A Girl.//

Bloody hell this is amazing! I cried my eyes out when I found out that it had ended. It is written in form of a movie (not a script) and those were probably the best 86 (I think) chapters of a book I have ever read in my life. This book was just phenomenal. It shows you how being rich doesn't mean that you have the perfect life but they are as flawed as we are. BY FAR THE BEST BOOK I HAVE EVER READ ON WATTPAD, hands down. I found myself wiping a tear after reading this beautifully written. #f.a.i.t.hfamilyforlife

I love the cover of this book and I hope this gets published because so much effort was put into this book by the author!

I didn't really get this book. It was awesome how it was written in letter form but I just don't get the hype of the book. The movie is amazing hands down, the book as a whole was just a bit difficult to understand. The book didn't really have a plot which did actually have me confused at times.

Charlie is quite an emotionally troubled character. The people who were extremely close to him, his Aunt Helen and his best friend Michael, both died. He always blames himself for it and he was truly traumatised. He dropped down a year of school and didn't go in for a very long time. He finds new friends who are seniors who show him the life of having fun, going to parties and football games. He somehow finally feels like there are people there to understand him and he can understand other people.

I do understand what Charlie is going through, he was trying hard to fit in but everyone thought that he was weird or stupid. I think it is trying to speak through a teenagers point of view like how we worry all the time or take the wrong turns. It was written in diary form which most kids keep to just let all their feeling out and the book wasn't too formal. To be honest, I was expecting a bit more from the book mainly because it was constantly raved about and was adapted into a huge movie with Emma Watson (My women crush all day!) in it. And there was a bit too much action for me like he must be one unlucky guy! His aunt was molested, his bestfriend commited suicide and he uses a lot of drugs. Well that is just too eventful for me and I was sat there a bit baffed.

Overall, I thought this book was alright. It's wasn't worth all of the hype. I was confused a lot, but I can't lie, it was extremely sweet though.

The Scorch Trials-A Book Review||❤

The Scorch Trials

The Scorch Trials picks up where The Maze Runner left off. The Gladers have escaped the Maze, but now they face an even more treacherous challenge on the open roads of a devastated planet.
And WICKED has made sure to adjust the variables and stack the odds against them.
Can Thomas survive in such a violent world?

The start of this book was extremely confusing for me. The boys get out of the trial, they meet a boy called Aris, they find out about another trial going on, they find tattoos on their necks and everyone is hungry and worried. That happened in around 40 pages. For me, I couldn't keep up with it all. I didn't feel like I got to know anything more about the characters, too many new things were squashed in at once that my brain couldn't actually take it all. I just sat there dazed re-reading each page over and over again. The change of events left me with unanswered questions.

I also felt like I didn't get to know the characters and their personalities didn't shine through as much. The person who confused me the most was Thomas.. Although he is the main character of the series it was like he wasn't part of the book and I didn't feel like I connected with him. Without Chuck making the smart comments it felt a bit lost, I do think it was a big mistake for Chuck to be killed because he was the character everyone instantly fell in love with but now he is gone there is no other likeable character, I found Jorge a weird person, I think by adding spanish words in italics it just made it even more annoying, It was like he only knew one spanish word. (Plus I just found out that Jorge is some 30 year-old guy! When did the book even say this??) 

To end it on a high-note, I do like the concept of it. I do like how there are different phases and how they incorporate the phrase 'WICKED is good' and it makes you want to read on and see what it means. I didn't actually take a break from reading it and actually finished it in a day, completely the opposite of what I had done with Allegiant. I liked how there were the infected and how the flare was explained to us/

But sorry I just had to add in just to spoil that high note, that what the hell was with the book and the zombie apocalypse ending I mean come on! I was expecting something better that a couple of zombies with bulbs on them. That might actually be one of the most boring ending of a book I have ever read in a long time. I expected not all of them to be safe, the Gladers we didn't really care about ended up dying, you know the ones who don't even have any names,
Another additonal thing would be a quote I found on the book which had me crying with laughter. 'Aris looked up finally, wiped a couple of tears from his cheeks. He did it without the slightest hint of shame, and Thomas suddenly knew he like the boy.' My exact reaction to this in my not books was; WHAT???. Did that first sentence even make any sense and I was laughing extremely hard.

I feel like this book review has become extremely long so I need to sum it up. Overall, I didn't really like the book. I would give it a solid 3star rating,
